Delicious Colombian food; Great variety and everything is always fresh. The service is consistently good. The prices are very reasonable. I guess the only downside I see is that most, if not all, of their wait staff speak only Spanish. Yes, I get it, this is Miami, but this is still the United States and I believe that if you are going to work in this country, you really need to learn the language.

Nice local restaurant with great Colombian food and great pastries. We had dinner and it was delicious - calamari, salmon, churrasco beef, shrimp and rice, chicken and mushroom and the mixed platter with steak, pork belly and egg. Service was great - our wait person spoke almost no English and we spoke very little Spanish, but it all worked out great.

The food was so good. The service was not the best, but I will definitely go back. they need to have a better dialect.

Always ready for a full Colombian breakfast when visiting Miami . Came here to meet up with family ,and they have great options for breakfast like omelettes (the Spanish version) with potatoes, and the meat empanadas were fresh and not greasy at all. Some servers are great and kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything that we needed . If you come here don't forget to try all the natural juice , either with milk or water . Like mango and blackberry!

My daughter had gone to eat with friends a couple weeks ago and raved about how amazing it was so when I took her to do her eyebrows a couple days ago at a place inside the same shopping center as this restaurant, I knew I had to stop and get some pan de bono and empanadas Colombianas. As soon as you walk in, you smell all the aromas. I went right to the bakery area BUT I couldn't help looking at all the dishes being brought out by the servers. The food looked amazing and the portions were pretty big so I called the hubby and asked if he wanted to get something for dinner. Of course he said "hell yeah" so I ordered two Bandeja Paisa con Carne Asada and four of us shared the food. That is how big the portions are. The chicharrones weren't as crispy as I like them BUT the carne asada was phenomenal. Very tender, juicy and flavorful. Forgot to mention that the pan de bono's and .empanadas de pollo were delicious.

I've been a customer at macita's for years and lately its been a little hit or miss. Whenever I'm craving authentic Colombian, I pop in and tonight my takeout experience was really great. The food was homey, satisfying and the portions are very filling. But the real stars are the Empanadas and Pan de Bono. The empanadas are perfectly golden and crisp on the outside and the filling is just delicious . They come with the BEST spicy side( picante) and this may be my favorite part. I could honestly drink the stuff on its own. The Pan de Bono are a classic and I could seriously eat 4 of these in one sitting. This place is a familiar favorite and really hits the spot on a good night.
